Implementation & Integration

Is TRULEO difficult to implement?

No. Our platform integrates with existing BWC systems and CAD/RMS software. Our team provides training and setup support to ensure a smooth rollout.

What body-worn camera systems does TRULEO work with?

TRULEO is brand-agnostic and works with all major BWC providers.

How does TRULEO connect to our RMS / CAD and other data sources

TRULEO uses secure APIs and “agentic AI” workflows. Agents can be configured with tiered permissions that mirror RMS/LERMS settings, ensuring users only access what they’re authorized to see.

On-Premises vs Cloud – how does it work?

All on-prem to cloud communication is outbound only via 443 TLS/SSL (FIPS-140-3). No VPN is required unless specifically requested.

Is the AI standalone in our data center or does it need to communicate to the cloud?

TRULEO runs in AWS GovCloud. If RMS connectivity is enabled, we deploy an on-premise AI agent that ensures sensitive data stays within the PD.

Is the data leaving the premises?

No. Your BWC data remains in your existing cloud storage. TRULEO analyzes it in GovCloud. RMS data, if enabled, is processed locally within the PD.

When does BWC footage show up in TRULEO?

After EMS integration, data appears within 12 hours. Typically, footage is available within a few hours after docking the camera.

How do I enable microphone access for TRULEO?

Body camera integrations (Motorola / Watchguard process).

TRULEO integrates via Motorola’s Watchguard API. Agencies configure officer access through groups that mirror Watchguard permissions.

Does TRULEO store our videos?

No. Videos remain in your EMS. TRULEO streams data securely for analysis and review.

How does the AI model interact with the internet?

All models are hosted in TRULEO’s GovCloud. External models used (Anthropic & OpenAI) process only derived data (like transcripts or summaries), with zero-data retention and U.S. residency.

FOIA & Legal Considerations – are we subject to requests?

TRULEO does not copy body cam or RMS data, minimizing FOIA burden. Derived data is retained minimally and often classified in ways that avoid FOIA retention obligations.

What safeguards are in place to prevent hallucination?

All AI-generated answers in TRULEO are sourced with citations. Users can verify information by checking the original source.

What safeguards are in place to prevent transcription errors?

TRULEO’s transcription model is purpose-built for BWC and trained on thousands of hours of audio. It achieves human-level accuracy. Agencies can edit transcripts, with all edits logged in an audit trail.
