Our Mission

TRULEO is dedicated to building and delivering unbiased and ethical technology products that advance the mission of professional law enforcement. We have developed a custom-trained, open-source audio analysis platform that saves time and accurately recognizes professionalism and excellence through the privacy-protected, un-transferred analysis of body-worn camera data. We are passionate partners in public safety and automatically surface de-escalation attempts, high composure, and high professionalism in everyday police interactions.

Proven Technology

2014 
Co-founders Anthony Tassone and Tejas Shastry pioneered NLP on Wall Street to analyze phone calls and text conversations to improve compliance, customer experience, and productivity.

2015 

World's largest investment banks (Bank of America, Citi, Jefferies, RBC, and others) adopt groundbreaking technology to save time and improve efficiency.

2018 

Motorola, the most trusted, integrated, end-to-end public safety ecosystem, adopts using technology for 911 calls and public safety radio traffic.

2022 

Anthony and Tejas operationalize TRULEO and Partner with the FBI NAA to reduce workload and deliver efficiency in technology. TRULEO builds a proprietary NLP dataset based on over 4 million real-world unique data points. Using dozens of experienced law enforcement officers, the TRU Data audio analysis engine is born.

2023 

TRULEO launches in the United States

2024 

TRULEO expands internationally and they're awarded the first patent on body worn camera audio analytics.

Anthony Tassone comes from a proud military and law enforcement family, he is a board member of the FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA) Foundation.
 
He received his bachelor's degree from DePaul University in Computer Science and lives just outside of Chicago with his wife and 4 kids. Anthony is an avid bow hunter and triathlete, and he regularly speaks about culture, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

Tejas Shastry grew up in central Illinois and received his bachelor's degree and PhD from Northwestern University.
 
Tejas works closely with NIJ LEAD Scholars and lives in Chicago with his wife and 2 kids. He is an avid data scientist and technologist who has authored over 30 peer-reviewed research publications and 10 patents, received 2 fellowships, and been previously recognized on Forbes 30 under 30.
