Ready to Learn How A.I. Impacts Police Performance?

Discussing the impact of 100% BWC review random control trials

In partnership with FBINAA, TRULEO invites you to join us for an enlightening webinar featuring Anthony Tassone, CEO and Co-Founder of TRULEO, board member of the FBINAA Foundation and Dr. Ian Adams, Assistant Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of South Carolina and teacher at the FBI National Academy. In this session, we will explore the findings of a 6-month scientific study that examined the impact of an AI-assisted, 100% body-worn camera review policy for two law enforcement agencies. The speakers will deliver valuable insights into how 100% review can enhance transparency, provide training opportunities, and capture and recognize police professionalism.

Study Design:
  • Participants: 220 police officers and 180 sheriff’s deputies in patrol or patrol-adjacent roles.
  • Groups: Officers were randomly assigned to one of three groups:
    • Control Group: Officers/Deputies performed daily duties with no feedback from TRULEO.
    • Self-Auditing Group: Officers/Deputies received access to a personalized TRULEO dashboard for self-review.
    • Supervisor-Mediated Group: Supervisors provided feedback based on performance data; officers did not have individual dashboard access.
  • Objective: To determine if AI-driven feedback improves officer outcomes and to compare the effectiveness of self-auditing versus supervisor-mediated feedback.
